All you Mama's out there. Chris and I need some help. We are trying to come up with a list of "stuff" we need to bring back with us in May from the US. We are having a bit of trouble. The deal is- when we come home and gather this "stuff" we still won't know the age or sex or the children- we don't think. The only thing I feel sure about is that we will have a boy. I'm trying to come up with some "essentials" but here is what we have so far:
- Car seat(s)- but we will buy them here.
- stroller (not a necessity, i know- but it would be nice for walks, park, and shopping)- ridiculous and expensive here.
- clothe diapers (the cheapest way to diaper here)
- Cerave Lotion and soaps (Lindy's special lotion -the only stuff I can use due to my allergy)
- UNC outfits/ apparel (CT says this IS an essential item)
I know the list isn't a very good one... but i really just don't know. Some stuff I can get here probably.
Does any body have any more suggestions for "essentials" to bring back for the child(ren)? We could use it! I have my pen and paper ready.
When you guys get home at the end of April, I will still be at UNC. I'll be here until May 2nd.. And so, I can hook you up with UNC stuff! Or, better yet, you can come hang out with me, and we can shop at the same time! I know. I'm a genius. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Lindy, I am so excited for you!! I hope to be able to do clothe diapers with my future baby(s) too. I have diaper pins if you need some-lol!
ReplyDeleteIs it inappropriate to ask the mommy-to-be, if a (baby) shower would be a nice gesture? I am pretty sure that it does not matters in the least, to any of us back here, that the pregnancy has taken place on paper!

As far as suggestions, I personally loved the baby gas drops(Walmart Brand) and baby orajel. Never be caught without meds for the little ones!
QUESTION:What is the time frame you are working with as far as the adoptions go?
BRP or BPR?!? I don't know Lindy, is that something I wrote somewhere? If so, that is pretty sad that I don't know what it means, huh! Give me a hint, and I can figure it out a little easier!
ReplyDeleteI figured someone had to have asked you about having a shower of some sort. I think that there are certain things that all little ones will need at some point, plus, there are several items that come in neutral colors for both/either gender.
It use to be that the mint-ish green and yellow were the choice colors, but now, there is so many more options available!
I am so excited just thinking about your little ones! I can not wait until the time comes when we get to see pictures of them!!
