Beauty For Ashes...

"...beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61:3

Ho hum...

Got a letter today from USCIS. They got our I600 application however it has "been suspended" until we pay the other $160. It was very confusing to me b/c the paperwork said there was an application fee of $670 and $80 for additional adults living in the home. Well, I thought it meant other than CT and I so I didn't pay it. It's fine... i just feel like it puts us behind which I'm used to, but Chris is leaving January 11th. I reminded them on that via a sticky note with my check for the remaining $160. ;)

If anyone is still following this blog and feels the spirit lead them, please pray we find our passports! Very soon! We have looked everywhere for them and it isn't like us to lose them... we it isn't like Chris. I lose things frequently. We cannot remember where we had them last, but if we do not find them then it causes some problems. It will affect our adoption stuff as well as Chris' trip back to Kenya Jan 11th. Plus it's more money. We feel like we have looked EVERYWHERE there is to look! Only the Lord knows where they are! We have prayed but maybe we need to call Vic Owen... (some of you will get that if you heard the sermon at RFBC sunday)

  1. Praying for passports and paperwork.

I'd call Vic though. Because you NEVER know.
