Far, far away

8am: Today we are just going to have a surprise visit at Little Angels.  We are tired of waiting.  We heard that the boss lady just left for Europe for 3 weeks.  If this is indeed true, there better be a copy of our home study sitting on the desk waiting- SIGNED by her.  I believe we have been patient and now it is time we keep them accountable.  The Austin's have had to be SO patient with them also.  But they get to meet thier little one Tuesday!!  Sara has been sick with a cold though, and they aren't suppose to go if they are sick so say a little prayer for her to feel better so they can finally meet their little girl!

7pm: Update- (now that we have internet).  We went by for our surprise visit and Social Worker Steve apologized and  said it was his bosses fault.  He pretty much passed the buck to Susan saying that she should have signed it.  Supposedly he's been advocating for us.  He said it would take her about 30 minutes to read it and sign it. We have been waiting 5 weeks for her to read this thing!  That is ALL we need.... 2 signatures.  Social Worker Steve said we should make an appointment with her for next Tuesday.  So we made an appointment in which we will go into her office just to ask her to please review and approve our home study.  How dumb is that?  I know.  The Home study is dated April 29th.  Guess what?  Got home and received a call from Social Worker Steve saying that Susan will be in Europe until next Wednesday and so we will have to move our meeting to the NEXT Tuesday.  Yep, over 2 weeks from now we will have our meeting to ask her for her signature.  Is it me or are we getting further away?  Oh goodness...
