Beauty For Ashes...

"...beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61:3

32 weeks, kinda...

We went to the doctor this morning and she checked me out. Everything seems to be well- BP was good, Heart Rate and even Ezra's! This is the first time she has been able to find his heart rate, which was 128, because he's been so active. She told me, before measuring, that I am "very large for 32 weeks". Yes mam... I am aware. Then she measured me. I am measuring 36 weeks by the size of my uterus. At my 25 week check up, I measured 29 weeks- so that is consistent. She ordered another scan and put under the Reason section: "Uterus measuring greater than EDD (Estimated Due Date)."
Weight: I got back on her scales (which are the ones I've gone by since 17 weeks) and I've gained about 15.5kgs which is about 34 lbs. In the US, I was having to convert the kilos to pounds and I was on different scales. I was sort of freaking out a little, b/c I thought it was close to 40lbs at 30 weeks. But 34lbs at 32 weeks doesn't seem quite as bad. MAN! So I COULD have had 2 cookout milkshakes instead of the 1 I had! She said his head is still down and his back is on the lower right side. She asked if I knew which body parts were which and I told her that I had no clue what parts I was feeling. She told me where his knees, ankles, hands were and explained the movements. SO COOL! I loved it!

Back to the ultrasound- We left her office a little after 12 and the office at the hospital where i get my scans done is closed for lunch from 12-2pm. We HAD to go grocery shopping for the boys and get the food to them.

When we got back I could not believe how big my wallace was. Check this out!

I took these the day we left. It's hard to tell his size the way he is laid out and I just thought the other one was hilarious- the way he was sleeping with his head upside down like a smile!

This is Wallce today! And he's not even 8 months old!
